One of our chapter members father, Abe Fiensilver will be awarded France's highest award for actions duing the liberation of France in WW2. Lt. Feinsilver is also the recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster (2nd award), Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters (total of 3) and received a battlefield commision to Lt. due to his actions. Lt. Feinsilver is one of the surviving members of the "Greatest Generation" The ceremony will be held @ 1PM. Please do all you can to show and see a True American Hero in the literal sense of the word. The word "Hero" is too commonly used today, this man is truly a living monument to the word.
