Wreaths Across America 2011

Members of the Leathernecks M/C, Jason Dunham Chapter participated in the 2011 "Wreaths Across America" ceremony held at the National Cemetary in Lake Worth Fl.  Over 1600 wreaths were placed on headstones of our nations veterans from all conflicts.  Congressman Alen West gave an emotional and poignant prelude to the keynote speakers address.  Ceremonial Wreaths were placed by veterans of WWII, The Korean War, The Vietnam War, Kuwait, Desert Storm and Afghanistan.  Placing the WWII wreath was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge.  A true honor to shake his hand.

Following the retirement of the colors all wreaths were placed on as many grave sites as possible.  It was truly an emotional experience.  Wreaths accross this nation were placed at the same time at all National Cemeteries.  We were proud to place wreaths for our fallen Marines and Corpsmen.
