Leathernecks M/C Attend Emotional Toy Run

The Leathernecks M/C, Jason Dunham Chapter had the unique and very special opportunity to support the Hermandad M/C "Alfredo Pena" Memorial Toy Run today.  It stared out like all the Toy Runs held this time of year which we make every effort to attend.  We gathered at Hermandad M/C's clubhouse, paid our entry fee, and donated our "goodies" but this is where the difference comes in.  We then rode as a group to the Chapman Partnership for the Homeless Shelter.  As you can tell from the pictures we even brought Santa with us.  Each patched member and support members were allowed to escort a child to see Santa and then they were guided to choose a toy or gift to their liking.  It was a very emotional experience to see the childrens faces light up and to witness the appreciation of their parents, who at this particular moment in their life need some help to move forward in life.  This is part of the wonderful good done by the Chapman Partnership. To see the good that goes on all during the year, not just the holidays you can visit their website at:  http://www.chapmanpartnership.org.  We will definately be a part of this toy run in the years to come.  It's truly wonderful to see and feel the real meaning of Christmas.
