GUNNERS LAST RIDE

 Gunner’s Last Ride

It is with profound sadness that the world lost one of its most unique citizens.  Robert “Gunner” Parrish succumbed to cancer on Aug 31st, 2013 after a lengthy and hard fought battle.  Gunner was our brother, our friend, our mentor and above all our teacher to learn how to deal with life’s greatest challenges.

Gunner rode to the end with his brother Leathernecks, and was an example to our younger brothers and sisters in our club.  He had just ridden two months before to the north central area of Tenn. for a National meeting of the Leathernecks M/C and enjoyed himself immensely.

Just prior to Tenn. he and his loving wife Ester “Kitti” Parrish had taken a long haul trip in their motorhome to visit relatives from Wisconsin south.  It was one of the things on his bucket list.

The Leathernecks M/C has lost one of its own, and the world will never be the same.  But we know that this two time purple heart recipient is sitting in heaven on guard for all of mankind, his is now one of “God’s Own”.

We would like to thank those who attended "Gunner's" Celebration of life, and all those who attended in spirit.
